Vice President, Sales Orthobiologics. 

Position Overview.

This position is a key member of the Aziyo Orthobiologics Sales team and as such is involved in executing the Company’s short- and long-term goals and objectives as it relates to revenue and growth.      

In this role, the Orthobiologics Sales VP will be responsible for driving sales to new customers, with a focus on overall business growth and profitability.  The Sales VP will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sales cycle, including identifying prospective customers, building a robust sales pipeline,  negotiating commercial terms and closing deals.  The Sales VP will also work closely with a cross-functional team of R&D, Operations, Finance and Customer Service, serving as Aziyo’s single point of contact for new customers.

Position reports to the General Manager of the Orthobiologics business.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Rapidly develop a robust understanding of Aziyo’s Orthobiologics product portfolio, including understanding key points of competitive differentiation
  • Build strategic plans to expand into new and current markets
  • Develop a robust pipeline of sales leads through prospecting and prior industry relationships
  • Efficiently progress sales pipeline by prioritizing deal size and profitability
  • Negotiate commercial terms to enable deal closure and facilitate customer onboarding
  • Continue to serve as the single point of contact for new customers, building a strong relationship and understanding of their needs
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the Sales team, R&D, Operations, Finance and Customer Service

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, science, engineering, finance or other related field.

Experience and Skills

  • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly by driving growth through the addition of new customers
  • 5+ years’ experience in orthobiologics sales, with robust industry relationships
  • Experience working with business-to-business (B2B) customers in the medical device space
  • Exceptional ability to identify growth opportunities, define strategies and conduct customer discussions
  • Comfortable with deal negotiation and commercial contracts
  • A collaborative team player with an ability to problem solve in a cross-functional setting
  • A motivated, persistent and ambitious person, committed to driving transformational business growth
